We are committed to a family-centered approach, recognizing that families are the experts regarding their children’s abilities and, in fact, serve as their children’s first teachers.  While child rearing is a challenge for families, those including children with developmental delays may be faced with particularly difficult roles because family members must be both parents and advocates for their children.  As professionals working with families we strive to maintain an objective role, yet be caring and sensitive to your needs in order to provide effective intervention services.  Young children, including those with developmental delays, spend a majority of time within their family setting and we understand and acknowledge the central role a child's family plays in his/her
